Advancing Cooperatives

Our mission is to educate the public about co-operatives and the co-operative sector, to help workers form and operate self-managed enterprises, to serve and advocate for co-operatives, and to help business owners in transitioning their enterprise to worker-ownership. We also stand up for the values of co-operatives and seek a society free of the evils of capitalism as well as the realization of a Cooperative Commonwealth.

Endemic stagnation, falling living standards, and the erosion of our communities is not an inevitability. We do not have to choose between quality of life and our fundamental human rights. Co-operatives serve as a powerful tool for economic empowerment and revitalization of our communities.
